Forgiving for Living
Girls, Ages 11+ (Watts/Willowbrook Club only)
In partnership with the Forgiving for Living, the goal for this program is to help at-risk girls between the ages of 11-14 overcome behavioral and mental health issues in addition to low self-esteem due to depression, abuse and/or abandonment. The program provides the necessary tools to live a healthy life through their Ambassador Program, workshops, and annual Conference, which offers mentoring and life skills.
Healthy Habits

Designed to incorporate healthy living and active learning in every part of the Club Experience, Healthy Habits emphasizes good nutrition, regular physical activity and improving overall well-being. The program, for ages 6 to 15, is the Mind component of Triple Play: A Game Plan for the Mind, Body and Soul.
Starts with Heart

Starts with Heart engages youth in thoughtful processing of emotions. Staff will use strategies that support members in managing their stress and support their development of social, emotional, and academic learning competencies with an open heart and mind.
Lyricism 101
All Ages
Lyricism 101 is a program designed to cultivate and amplify the powerful, formidable voices of Club teens. Recognizing the power of the literary arts, Lyricism 101 positions Club members as torchbearers and experts in the ancient oral poetic traditions that continue to thrive around the world. The program gives teens an opportunity to tell their stories, build community and express their artistic visions through the music of hip-hop culture and the culture of the cipher.
Journeys - Paths to Adulthood
Ages 10-15
Growing up isn’t easy. Journeys: Paths to Adulthood is a targeted identity exploration program built to give young people the space, support and tools they need to navigate the journey of adolescence as they grow to emerge as strong, healthy young adults. Providing young people with the support they need during these formative years helps them develop healthy attitudes and lifestyles that they will carry into adulthood.
Passport to Manhood
Boys, All Ages
Passport to Manhood represents a targeted effort to engage young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior. Each participant receives a “passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of maturation and growth. Each of the program’s 14 sessions use interactive activities to focus on a specific aspect of character and manhood. It also includes a service project where boys learn the importance of giving back to the community.
